Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- Associate degree in allied health field; or bachelor’s of science degree as health science and registry eligible as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credential International; or enrolled in an associate degree allied health program with graduation date within six months and registry eligible RCIS.
- Three years of current allied health experience in an acute care setting or registry eligible RCIS.
- BLS certification.
- Recent cardiac cath lab or special procedures experience.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RICS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Note: Non-registered cardiovascular technologist is strongly encouraged to obtain registration.
