Clinical Engineering Service Specialist Senior
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree in electronics or biomedical engineering, or equivalent military training or 2 years’ experience in technical service repair and maintenance pertaining to the specific equipment requiring high levels of technical support.
- Ten years hands-on experience performing direct repair and maintenance on both general and model specific equipment in one or more of the following specialized fields:

- Diagnostic Imaging Equipment: includes general radiographic; fluoroscopic; special procedures; ultrasound; gamma camera; MRI; CT (computed tomography) systems and other systems specific to radiology, cardiac catheterization, nuclear medicine or ultrasound.
- Radiation Therapy/Oncology Equipment: includes linear accelerators; simulators; stereotactic systems; treatment planning systems; and other systems specific to radiation oncology.
- Analytical/Diagnostic Equipment: clinical laboratory analyzers; assigned clinical departments and/or specific, one of a kind clinical support system.
- Sterilization/Surgical/Dialysis Specialty Devices: includes steam and ETO sterilizers; hand instruments; lasers; robotic surgical systems; heart/lung bypass systems.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering or related technical field
- Certification through Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) as Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES).
