Qualifications:

         Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, management or related field or Associate’s degree with (2) years of related experience, or High School with four (4) years of related experience related experience.
  • Three (3) years’ progressive experience in health plan compliance programs including two (2) years’ experience in a management role with direct reports leading or assisting in all phases of effective supervision (i.e. Recruitment, performance management, training).
  • Candidate must be approved by the Indiana Medicaid agency prior to hiring and the agency may ask to interview the candidate.

Preferred:

  •  Health Care Compliance certification .
  • Two (2) years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions.
  • Experience working as an independent auditor or accountant responsible for evaluating internal records for the purpose of ensuring regulatory compliance.
  •  Working knowledge of HIPAA and other federal or Indiana privacy laws.
  • Experience presenting information to leadership.
