Registered Nurse - 2 E Telemetry

Daily Work Times: 7:00AM - 7:30PM

Position Summary:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Performs purposeful hourly rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs and Possessions
2. Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of patient/family
3. Triages patients in accordance with Emergency Severity Index (ESI) minor to critical recommendations
Required:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License
• BLS certified
• ACLS certified within 6 months of hire
• Completed and is certified (up-to-date) in Basic Arrhythmia
Preferred:
• Previous experience in acute care center
• Telemetry experience
• BSN in Nursing
