Sterile Processing Technician Certified - Ambulatory Surgery Center
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months work experience in a Sterile Processing Department or as a Surgical Scrub Technician OR completion of a post-secondary level course in Sterile Processing
- Certification as a sterile processing technician by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), or the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM)
Preferred:
- Ambulatory Surgical Center experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers
