Qualifications:
Required:
· Associate degree in health information technology, accounting, business management or closely related field.
· Certified or eligible to be certified in at least 1 of the following certifications:
o Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
o Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
o Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
o Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
· Three years’ coding experience.
