Trauma Registrar
Required:
• Associates Degree in Health Information Technology or Management preferred, or relevant clinical or coding practical experience with trauma care.
• One year experience in hospital coding or chart required.
• Must obtain Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAIS) within one year of hire.
• Must complete Trauma Registrar course within one year.
* Must complete AAAM-AIS Course within one year of hire.
Preferred:
• One year trauma registry and AIS coding experience preferred.
